Locey Lights Out as Indians Cruise to Victory

SPOKANE, Wash. - Tony Locey tossed six no-hit innings and the Spokane offense scraped together four runs as they topped the Hops, 4-0, in front of 2,598 fans at Avista Stadium for Hawaiian Night presented by Coors Light & Rock 94 1/2. The Indians improved to 30-27 on the season with the win including a 19-8 mark at home.

TOP PERFORMERS

Locey delivered his best home outing of the season, striking out seven while allowing just three Hops to reach base on walks. The right-hander delivered a similar outing against Hillsboro on May 11th (6 IP, 0 H, 10 K) and is now second in the Northwest League with a 2.56 ERA.

Ronaiker Palma made the most of his first start at DH this season, finishing 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored.
