#RedbandRally Falls Just Short in the Ninth

Spokane, Wash. - The Indians staged a late #RedbandRally but it fell just short as the Hops escaped with a 4-2 win in front of 2,501 fans at Avista Stadium for '90s Night presented by Azteca Mexican Restaurants.

TOP PEFORMERS

Zac Veen hit his third home run in the last three games and is now second on the team with eight homers on the season.

Austin Kitchen delivered a strong performance out of the bullpen, tossing three scoreless innings with four strikeouts to lower his ERA to 3.23.

Julio Carreras, Grant Lavigne, and Colin Simpson all picked up base hits in the loss.

TURNING POINT

The Indians has two runners on with no outs in the ninth but a strikeout and double play erased any chance of a comeback.
