The Spokane Indians are headed to the High-A West Playoffs presented by R'nR RV Center, SWX-TV, 93.7 The Mountain, and 103.5 THE GAME! The Indians defeated the Everett AquaSox, 6-3, to punch their ticket to the postseason.
It's the fifth-consecutive season that Spokane had made the playoffs. Spokane started the season 2-10 and trailed Everett by 15.5 games on August 3rd.
Spokane will face the Eugene Emeralds in the championship series after the Ems clinched their bid with a 6-0 win over the Tri-City Dust Devils. Spokane and Eugene will square off starting on Tuesday, September 21st at Avista Stadium.
