Indians Drop Heartbreaker to Canadians in Extras

TOP PERFORMERS

Ronaiker Palma stuffed the stat sheet with four hits, two RBIs, one run, and one walk. The 22-year-old has seven hits over his last three games to raise his average to .308.

Outfielder Braiden Ward had one walk, two hits, and three stolen bases out of the leadoff spot for Spokane. Ward's three steals give him 30 in 55 games with Spokane and 56 overall on the season.

Colin Simpson continued to make his case for Northwest League MVP with two hits and two runs to boost his average to .299 and OPS to .910.

AROUND THE NORTHWEST LEAGUE

Hillsboro (56-67) scored three times in the eighth to defeat Tri-City (53-69) by a final of 6-4.

Four Emeralds (75-47) pitchers combined on a 4-0 shutout of the AquaSox (57-67) in Eugene.

The Spokane Indians are the High-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies located in Spokane, Washington, and were named 2021 MiLB Organization of the Year. Avista Stadium is home to the MultiCare Kids Bench Seat. Parking at all Spokane Indians games is FREE. The Spokane Indians office and team store hours are 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Monday through Thursday and 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM on Fridays. On game days, the office and team store are open from 10:00 AM through the end of the game.
