Michael Toglia Homers in Future's Game
SPOKANE, Wash. - Michael Toglia looked mighty comfortable in his (potential) future big league home. The Spokane Indians slugger smashed a two-run homer in his first at-bat and finished 1-for-3 during the SiriusXM All-Star Future's Game on Sunday at Coors Field, as the National League topped the American League, 8-3.

The Spokane Indians slugger smashed a two-run homer in his first at-bat and finished 1-for-3 during the SiriusXM All-Star Future's Game on Sunday at Coors Field, as the National League topped the American League, 8-3.
Toglia, a switch-hitting first baseman out of UCLA, connected on a first-pitch fastball from former Indians pitcher Cole Ragans ('17) and sent it 444 feet into the stands in left-center. Toglia's home run - one of five on the day from NL sluggers - gave the Senior Circuit a 3-0 advantage in the third as they cruised to victory over the AL. The number three prospect in the Colorado Rockies farm system according to MLB Pipeline, Toglia is currently tied for second in the High-A West in home runs (10) while also ranking among the league's top 10 in RBIs (39) and walks (33).
Ragans, who missed over three years due to a pair of Tommy John surgeries, allowed two earned runs over 1/3 inning with one walk and one strikeout. Former Spokane catcher Willie MacIver entered the game as a replacement and finished 0-for-2 at the plate, though he did nab star Mariners prospect Julio Rodriguez attempting to steal third base.
