Cardinals finalize 2013 Opening Day Roster

Springfield, MO - The St. Louis Cardinals have finalized the Springfield Cardinals 2013 Opening Day Roster.  Springfield will start the season with 25 players on the active roster and three players on the Disabled List.

Placed on the Disabled List on Thursday were RHP Chris Corrigan, RHP Scott Gorgen and RHP Jordan Swagerty.  Additionally, RHP Carlos Martinez has been placed on the Temporary Inactive List.

RHP Richard Castillo is scheduled to get the ball as the Opening Night Starter when the Cardinals kick off the season on the road against the Corpus Christi Hooks tonight at 7:05 p.m.  Catch all of the action on JOCK 98.7FM and SpringfieldCardinals.com, and tune in 15 minutes early for the Coyote's Adobe Cafe Pre-Game Show.
