Cardinals Season Ticket Holders will get Family Pass to Arizona Fall League

Springfield, MO - With the start of the Arizona Fall League coming up around the corner, the Springfield Cardinals are excited to announce a new partnership that will provide all Springfield Cardinals Season Ticket Holders with a Season Family Pass to all Fall League games this year. The 2013 Arizona Fall League season begins on Tuesday, Oct. 8.

The Arizona Fall League is regarded as the "finishing school" for top prospects all throughout professional baseball. On July 31, the Cardinals were very excited to announce that Springfield Cardinals Field Manager Mike Shildt was selected as the Manager for the Salt River Rafters in the Fall League this season. The Rafters roster will be made up of top prospects from the Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays systems. Comprised of only six teams, assignments to the Arizona Fall League are not only an honor for players, but also for managers, coaches and athletic trainers.

The Arizona Fall League Season Family Pass includes four tickets to every Fall League game this year, a value of $115. As a token of our appreciation, all Springfield Cardinals Season Ticket Holders will receive a complimentary AFL Season Family Pass for the 2013 season. Details on registering for your AFL Season Family Pass will be sent to Springfield Cardinals Season Ticket Holders separately. Passes must be registered for by Monday, Oct. 7.

Beginning play on Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Arizona Fall League runs through Thursday, November 14 and features the Rising Stars All-Star Game on Saturday, November 2, before concluding with the annual Championship Game on Saturday, November 16 at Scottsdale Stadium. The Cardinals continue a six-game Texas road trip in Midland on Friday at 7pm. Catch all the action live on Jock 98.7 FM and SpringfieldCardinals.com, and tune in 15 minutes early for the Coyote's Sports Cafe Pregame Show.

Springfield then returns home for a four-game home series against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, starting on Tuesday, August 20. That Tuesday is a Great Southern Bank $1 Dog Day with delicious hot dogs for just a buck each, along with a 7:09pm First Pitch.

That series against the Naturals will also feature a Wednesday night contest on Wednesday, August 21, followed by the St. Louis Cardinals 2006 World Championship Replica Ring Giveaway (2,500) and a Johnsonville "Buck a Brat" Night on Thursday, August 22. The series wraps up with the American National Back-to-Back Texas League Player of the Year T-Shirt Giveaway (2,500) and an AM Pyrotechnics Friday Night Fireworks Show featuring Top 40 Music on Friday, August 23. First Pitch each night is 7:09pm, with gates opening at 6:09pm.
