Principal Financial Group Puzzle Cubes delayed by US Customs

Springfield, MO - The Springfield Cardinals and Principal Financial Group are disappointed to announce that Tuesday's giveaway items, the Principal Financial Group Puzzle Cubes, are being held by United States Customs and will not be delivered to Hammons Field in time for tonight's game as originally planned.

Instead of receiving the Puzzle Cubes tonight, 2,500 fans this evening will receive vouchers that may be redeemed for the Puzzle Cubes when they arrive. In addition to the vouchers, 2,500 fans will also receive Springfield Cardinals 2012 Texas League Championship Commemorative Coins in an effort to make up for the delayed Puzzle Cubes.

Shipments of this nature are regularly inspected by the Customs department. Everyone involved has been working to get the giveaway items to the ballpark on time, but the process is taking significantly longer than normal.

The Puzzle Cube pick-up details and date will be posted on SpringfieldCardinals.com after United States Customs releases the cubes. The Cardinals and Principal Financial Group apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
