Puzzle Cubes have arrived at Hammons Field

Springfield, MO - One day after a trio of former Springfield Cardinals - RHP Michael Wacha, RHP Carlos Martinez and RHP Trevor Rosenthal - helped the St. Louis Cardinals even the National League Division Series, we've got more exciting news. The Principal Financial Group Puzzle Cubes have arrived at Hammons Field!

The Puzzle Cubes were originally slated to be given away before the June 18 game, but were detained by U.S. Customs. Instead of the cubes, 2,500 fans that day received vouchers.

While Customs is still hanging on to the original shipment (they really like the cubes), the Cardinals reordered the Puzzle Cubes and they are available for pick-up. All fans that received a Puzzle Cube Voucher on June 18 may now bring that voucher to the Springfield Cardinals Front Office to claim their Principal Financial Group Puzzle Cube. All members of the Promo Club may also pick up their Puzzle Cube at the Front Office.

The Front Office is located at Hammons Field and is open Monday - Friday from 8:30am - 5:30pm. If you have any questions about picking up your Puzzle Cube, please call the Front Office at (417) 863-0395. The Springfield Cardinals and Principal Financial Group thank everyone for their patience!

Arizona Fall League action kicks off today

While the big Cardinals get ready for the decisive Game 5 of the NLDS on Wednesday, there's more baseball to keep an eye on. The Arizona Fall League, regarded as the "finishing school" for Minor League Baseball's top prospects, opens its 2013 season this evening.

Springfield Cardinals Manager Mike Shildt received the prestigious post of managing the Salt River Rafters, which is comprised of prospects from the Cardinals, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies, Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays farm systems. Five former Springfield Cardinals will suit up for the Rafters - OF Stephen Piscotty, OF James Ramsey, LHP Anthony Ferrara, LHP Dean Kiekhefer and LHP Lee Stoppelman.

The Rafters start their season against the Scottsdale Scorpions tonight at 8:35pm (CDT). Keep an eye on SpringfieldCardinals.com and MLBFallBall.com throughout the Arizona Fall League season for news and updates.
