Springfield, MO – The Cardinals (13-9, 44-47) dropped the opening game against the RoughRiders (12-10, 48-43) Tuesday night 10-6 at Hammons Field. Springfield is back to being tied for the Texas League’s North Division with Wichita (13-9, 48-42)

-2B Nick Dunn went 4-for-5 with his 27th RBI of the season, extending his on-base streak to 10 games

-LF Chase Pinder went 2-for-3 with a double, his 8th of the season

-1B Malcom Nunez knocked his 14th HR of the season with a 3-run missile in the bottom of the 4th

-3B Jordan Walker extended his hitting streak to 5 games with his team-leading 24th double of the season

-CF Mike Antico hit his 5th double in Double-A, now on a six-game hitting streak with hits in 10 of his last 12 games
