Unfortunate Parking Update about JD Holdings / Plaza Realty & Management Services Lots:

JD Holdings LLC and Plaza Realty & Management Services are again increasing parking prices at two nearby public parking areas to $20. The Springfield Cardinals were never notified of these changes and had to learn from a third party at 4:30pm today before verifying this disappointing news.

As a reminder, the Cardinals do not own, manage or lease nearby parking areas. Luckily there are still great local partners able to provide fans more affordable parking options all within 0.3 miles of the stadium. Options include: -Free parking at Ozarks Technical Community College -$10 parking at Price Cutter with all proceeds benefiting local charities -$5 parking at Jordan Valley Ice Park -Rideshare programs like CarGO, which offers first-time riders a discount with the promo code "gocards."

JD Holdings LLC and Plaza Realty & Management Services are the owner and manager of the lots implementing the increase, which include the lot south of the stadium between Trafficway and St. Louis Street and the parking garage southwest of the stadium near the Expo Center.

While the Springfield Cardinals were never given the courtesy of being notified of this unfortunate news, we do believe in fairly and quickly communicating with our fans. We hope that fans will continue to cheer on their local Springfield Cardinals and find suitable parking that best fits their needs, including various free spots on nearby streets.

Fans with questions and comments about the changes should contact the parking company directly.
