ST. LOUIS INVASION
Martinez began his rehab assignment in Springfield on Friday and Munoz on Saturday. Wainwright joined the pair today as the trio works their way back to St. Louis.
"It was good," Wainwright said after exiting. "Commanded the ball a little better than last time [in Palm Beach]. My breaking stuff was good. I've got to hone in my heater a little bit, but my arm felt great. I love pitching. I love getting out there and competing."
Wainwright struckout four Hooks and allowed a single hit in the first. Martinez struckout one over his inning of work. Munoz finished the day 1-for-2 after going 0-for-3 on Saturday.
