Mets Announce $3 Ticket Special For Home Opener

PORT ST. LUCIE, FLA. - The St. Lucie Mets have announced a $3 ticket special for their home opener, providing fans an opportunity to purchase discounted tickets before the start of the 2013 season.

The Mets host the Jupiter Hammerheads on Thursday, April 4 at 6:30 p.m. at Tradition Field.

The $3 ticket special for the St. Lucie Mets home opener will run through March 29 and is available only through the completion of New York Mets Spring Training.

Fans can purchase $3 tickets to the St. Lucie Mets home opener by calling the Mets Ticket Office at 772-871-2115.

The St. Lucie Mets set the single-season record for most wins in team history with 83 in 2012 and won the Florida State League First Half South Division Championship.

Meanwhile, the New York Mets play six remaining Spring Training games at Tradition Field in March.

The Mets host the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday, March 21 at 1:10 p.m., the Washington Nationals on Saturday, March 23 at 1:10 p.m., the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, March 24 at 1:10 p.m., the Cardinals on Tuesday, March 26 at 1:10 p.m., the Houston Astros on Wednesday, March 27 at 6:10 p.m., and the Cardinals on Friday, March 29 at 12:10 p.m.
