Mets Back at First Data Field this Week

Baseball Camp, Dollar Night, Free Books highlight home slate

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets will return to First Data Field on Monday to start a four-day home stand against the Daytona Tortugas.Because of rainouts between the teams last month in Daytona, the Mets and Tortugas have to squeeze in six games over the four days.

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets will return to First Data Field on Monday to start a four-day home stand against the Daytona Tortugas.
Because of rainouts between the teams last month in Daytona, the Mets and Tortugas have to squeeze in six games over the four days. On Monday the teams will resume their suspended game from May 26 at 4 p.m. The Mets, who are still considered the road team, lead 5-3 in the middle of the fifth inning.
The game will be played through nine innings and another seven-inning game will commence 30 minutes later.
The teams will play a doubleheader on Tuesday at 4 p.m. to get the series back on track. Both games are slated for seven innings with a 30-minute break between the games.
The series will get return to normal with a single nine-inning game on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The series concludes with another nine-inning game on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
Highlighting the home stand is Dollar Night on Thursday. On Monday kids get in for free and can pick up a free book upon entry courtesy of Children Services Council and St. Lucie Reads.
The first summer baseball is Tuesday-Thursday. Spots are still available and parents can sign their child up by calling 772-871-2115.
This is the final home stand for the Mets before the Florida State League All Star break.
Below is a full list of happenings at the ballpark for the upcoming home games.
Monday - 4:00 p.m.
-All kids 12-and-under receive free admission.
-Kids can pick up a free book for summer reading courtesy of Children Services Council and St. Lucie Reads.
Tuesday - 4:00 p.m.
-Fans can get two tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for just $15.
-Silver Sluggers Night: all Silver Sluggers members get in free and receive a free hot dog
-Baseball Bingo: free for all fans to play
-Baseball Camp Day 1
Wednesday - 6:30 p.m.
-All You Can Eat and a Seat: For $20 fans get a ticket to the game and access to the smorgasbord of hamburgers, hot dogs, taco bar, salad, popcorn, $2 soda, $2 water and $2 beer.
-Baseball Camp Day 2
Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
-Dollar Night: $1 Bud and Bud Light (8 oz. cans), $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 popcorn.
-Mason Jar Special: Buy a Mets mason jar for $12 and receive $1 draft beer refills every Dollar Night the remainder of the season.
