Mets to Host Keep PSL Beautiful Night

PORT ST. LUCIE, FLA. - The St. Lucie Mets have announced they will be hosting Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Night on Friday, April 5 as the Mets host the Jupiter Hammerheads at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. The game will be followed with a post-game fireworks show.
Fans who bring two nonperishable food items to the ballpark will receive a free ticket to the game. The food will be donated to the Treasure Coast Food Bank.
The St. Lucie Mets Fun Patrol will be at Port St. Lucie's City Hall from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, April 5 collecting nonperishable food items prior to the game.
In 2012, nearly 3,000 pounds of food was collected and donated to the Treasure Coast Food Bank from the event.
The St. Lucie Mets set the single-season record for most wins in team history with 83 in 2012 while also winning the First Half South Division Championship for the second straight year.
