Make the Spikes part of your family this summer

Apply to welcome Spikes players into your home in 2019

Now entering its 14th season, the State College Spikes' Host Family Program is accepting applications for potential host families for the 2019 season. While many host families return year after year, the Spikes are always looking to add to the list of families willing to open their homes to professional baseball players during the summer.

The Spikes' Host Family Program helps players transition to the Happy Valley community, with many of the families and players involved keeping in touch and forging lasting relationships.

Young ballplayers from all walks of life will be coming to State College, most for the first time, and participants in the Spikes' Host Family Program can help these young men enjoy their stay in Central Pennsylvania their summer.
