Saturday's Bald Eagle Area-Penns Valley game changing sites

Due to the rescheduling of games in Penn State's series against Ohio State this weekend, Saturday's Bald Eagle Area-Penns Valley high school game will not be played at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park. The Eagles and Rams, who were set to lead off the Spikes High School Baseball Series, will instead meet at Bald Eagle Area for a 3 p.m. game on Saturday.

The shift in the PSU-OSU series is due to forecasted rain on Sunday. The Nittany Lions and Buckeyes will now play a single game on Friday at 6:30 p.m., followed by a doubleheader, consisting of two nine-inning games, starting at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

Tickets already purchased for Saturday's Penn State game are valid for admission to both games of the doubleheader.

Spikes High School Baseball Series action will now start at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Saturday, April 28, when State College faces Bellefonte in a rematch of last year's extra-inning thriller. The showcase games will conclude with Philipsburg-Osceola taking on St. Joseph's on Saturday, May 5. Both matchups will follow 2 p.m. Penn State games on their respective dates
