Will Smith
President/Operating Partner

Phone: 718.313.1302

Will joined the Staten Island Yankees on Sept. 9, the first day of the 2015 New York-Penn League playoffs. Will's career in Minor League Baseball spans 18 years working for three additional teams.

After working as an engineer following college, Will wanted a greater passion for his work. He attended the Baseball Winter Meetings in Dallas, TX and found a job in New Haven, CT, with former Eastern League member New Haven Ravens. After two seasons selling tickets, advertising, and merchandise, Will left New Haven for Hagerstown, MD, to become a Director, Ticket Sales & Merchandise for Hagerstown Suns (Class-A, South Atlantic League).

Will earned two promotions in Hagerstown and was named General Manager in 2006. After two seasons running the day-to-day operations of the Suns, Will accepted an opportunity to join the Trenton Thunder (Class-AA, Eastern League, New York Yankee affiliate) and work for the minor league team he purchased tickets for when he was a student at nearby The College of New Jersey.

Success in Trenton led to this tremendous opportunity to lead the Staten Island Yankees and join the ownership group, Nostalgic Partners, LLC.

Will was raised in Dumont, NJ, and is a fan of the Yankees, Giants and Knicks. Will is also an avid NASCAR fan and he's still mourning Dale Earnhardt, Jr.'s retirement. Will and his wife Jada have a daughter Samantha and son William.
