Pizza Rats Pilsner Coming To Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND - The Staten Island Yankees and Flagship Brewing Company have teamed up to make a brand new beer, Pizza Rats Pilsner. Named after the SI Yanks alternate identity, Pizza Rats Pilsner is a traditional pilsner dry hopped with Citra hops making it the perfect beverage for a summer night at a ballgame.

"This is the stuff you dream about when opening a craft brewery. Being able to make awesome beer in collaboration with your friends in the community is truly great," said Flagship Brewing Company President and Co-Founder James Sykes.

Pizza Rats Pilsner will be first available at the can release party on June 13th at 7 p.m. at Flagship Brewery in Tompkinsville. Pizza Rats Pilsner will also be available in cans at Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George when the Staten Island Pizza Rats take on the Brooklyn Cyclones on Opening Night on June 15th at 7 p.m.
