Staten Island Yankees Announce New Food and Beverage Company

STATEN ISLAND - The Staten Island Yankees have announced they have started their own food and beverage company that will operate all concessions and suite catering at Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George. The new food and beverage company will be fully staffed and operated by the Staten Island Yankees, which was previously operated by Legends Hospitality.

"We thank Legends Hospitality for their years of legendary service," said Will Smith, President/Operating Partner. "Our ownership, Nostalgic Partners, LLC, made a significant investment to further improve our business and begin our own concessions company where we can focus on providing unparalleled customer service and serving quality products to our fans."

The new venture will allow the Staten Island Yankees to have control of all aspects of the concessions side of the business. The emphasis will be on customer service and training while also providing greater flexibility and opportunities for additional culinary partners and ballpark fare concepts. The Staten Island Yankees will enhance current partnerships with national and local brands such as, Flagship Brewery, Sabrett and Pepsi, as well as beginning new partnerships with partners including Philly Pretzel Factory.

"The food and beverage operation is paramount to fan experience", Smith continued. "We know we will improve our show and give fans a greater reason to return. This is a great step for our business and we cannot wait to begin serving fans Opening Night on June 15th."

In addition, the Staten Island Yankees will now be operating all aspects of merchandise as well. The new concessions and merchandise operations pave the way for future announcements as the Staten Island Yankees head into their 20th Season.

The Staten Island Yankees are the Class A Short Season Affiliate of the New York Yankees and play at Richmond County Bank Ballpark at St. George.
