Media Credentials for the Staten Island Yankees home games at Richmond County Bank Ballpark are available upon request. Season credentials will only be issued to legitimate news gathering organizations that cover the Staten Island Yankees on a daily basis. Those denied a season media credential can apply for a daily credential.

Please complete the Staten Island Yankees media credential application, which can be downloaded below. It includes the Minor League Baseball Terms and Condiditions of Credentials for Minor League Baseball Events form. Completeion of the media credential request does not guarantee credentials will be issued. All requests will be reviewed by the Staten Island Yankees media department. Under no circumstances are media credentials to be transferred from person to person without the express permission and approval by the Staten Island Yankees media department. Failure to do so could lead to dismissal of the media member from Richmond County Bank Ballpark and the confiscation of the individual/organization's media credential. Daily credentials will be issued to those individuals or organizations who do not qualify for season credentials or for those who want to cover a certain game/event at Richmond County Bank Ballpark. The Staten Island Yankees require at least a 48-hour notice for all daily credential requests. All weekend request must be made by the prior Thursday.

Approved media credentials can be picked up at our Main Box Office window at the corner of Wall Street and Richmond Terrace during normal business hours, daily media credentials must be picked up on the day of the game. A valid Photo ID will be required upon pickup.

Appropriately credentialed media are permitted access to the field and dugout areas, but are required to stay on the warning track, particularly when the team is taking batting practice. During the game, only permitted photographers can have access to the photo wells in the dugout. Any non-permitted photographers found in the photo wells will be removed from the stadium with the possibility of having their credentials revoked.


Game day information, including Game Notes, Stat Packs, and more will be available in the press box prior to every home game.


Staten Island Yankees' players and coaches will be available for interviews, pre-game, after batting practice for 45 minutes (home games only). Anyone found mulling around the locker room, or in the locker room after the 45 minutes is up, will be removed from the ballpark and have their credential revoked. About 10-15 minutes after the game has concluded coaches and players will be available for interviews. All approved credentialed must speak to the manager/coaches before they speak to the players. Media wishing to conduct an off-site interview, a featured story, or a phone interview should contact the Staten Island Yankees 72 hours prior to the interview time. No one will be permitted to interview the starting pitchers pre-game on the day of their start. To make an interview request please contact Michael Galayda at [email protected].


Under no circumstances are credentialed media permitted to ask players or coaches for autographs, whether it be on the field or in the clubhouse. Violation of this policy will result in the dismissal of the media member from the ballpark and confiscation of the violator's media credential.
