Ports to host 2020 California League All-Star Game
STOCKTON, Calif.- The Stockton Ports will host the California League All-Star Game at Banner Island Ballpark on June 23, 2020, the California League announced Tuesday night. The game will feature the California League North Division (Stockton, Modesto Nuts, San Jose Giants, and Visalia Rawhide) versus the South Division (Inland Empire 66ers, Lake Elsinore Storm, Lancaster JetHawks, and Rancho Cucamonga Quakes).
"It's a tremendous honor to be chosen to host the All-Star Game," said Ports President Pat Filippone. "We look forward to bringing an entertaining, family-friendly event to Stockton, and showcasing the California League's best players to Stockton, San Joaquin County, and our peers in the industry.
Banner Island Ballpark last hosted the All-Star Game in June, 2007, in a game featuring the California League versus the Carolina League. Participants included current Major League Baseball players David Freese, Chris Davis, and Darren O'Day.
Events


Make sure you get to the game early to watch the Cal League's power hitters go toe to toe. Participants will be released in the weeks leading up to the game.
