Stassi Named Cal. League Player of the Week

STOCKTON, Calif.- The Ports are pleased to announce that catcher Max Stassi has been named the California League Player of the Week for the week of July 16-22.

Max had an impressive week cranking four home runs while driving in five runs. Stassi went 8-for-27 (.296 batting average) during the week with four multi-hit games.

Entering play tomorrow, Stassi has 11 home runs on the season and 31 RBI. He is the 6th Ports player to be recognized by the California League this season.

The Ports travel to Visalia to face the Rawhide in a three game series starting tomorrow.
