The Charlotte Stone Crabs, Advanced 'A' affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, are pleased to unveil their 2017 schedule with the team set to open up at home on Thursday, April 6th against the Bradenton Marauders.
Fans will get a great opportunity to see the 'Crabs at home in April, with 15 games at Charlotte Sports Park during the month, including a seven-game homestand from April 10th-16th that concludes on Easter Sunday.
June 8th marks the first series in which the Stone Crabs will welcome the new Florida State League team to Port Charlotte. With the Brevard County Manatees now departed from the FSL, the Osceola County ball club, now affiliated with the Atlanta Braves, makes its first trip to Charlotte Sports Park before the All-Star Game from June 8th-11th.
The Florida State League All-Star Break will take place from June 16th-18th this season in Lakeland, Florida.
The Charlotte Stone Crabs conclude their 70-game home season on September first, the conclusion of a two-game series with the Bradenton Marauders.
