Stone Crabs Release 2018 Schedule

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - The Charlotte Stone Crabs, Advanced-A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, have released their 2018 regular season schedule with start times for all 70 scheduled home games.
Opening Night for the 10th season of Stone Crabs baseball in Charlotte County will be on Saturday Night, April 7th at 6:05 PM when the Crabs take on the Fort Myers Miracle. Opening Night will feature an unbelievable post-game Fireworks show.
Stone Crabs fans will enjoy the same fan friendly game times as the past two seasons in 2018 with Monday through Friday games beginning at 6:35 PM, Saturday games starting 6:05 PM and Sunday games will start at 12:35 PM. There will be two exceptions to these game times, Wednesday, July 20 will be the annual Stone Crabs "Summer Camp Day" starting at 10:05 AM and on Sunday, August 19, the Stone Crabs will host a "Faith Day" with a start time of 9:05 AM and feature a pre-game non-denominational faith service.
The Stone Crabs are also happy to announce their 2018 Fireworks dates. For the first time in franchise history, the Crabs will offer their fans 12 games that feature a post-game fireworks show. All 11 Saturday night home games throughout the 2018 season will have a post-game fireworks show (April 7, 21, May 5, 19, 26, June 9, 30, July 21, August 11, 18 and September 1) in addition to the Stone Crabs July 3 Fireworks extravaganza.
"The Stone Crabs organization continually strives to be as fan friendly as possible while always trying to listen to the feedback from our great fans and this great community that supports us," said General Manager, Jared Forma. "The number one thing we hear from the public is that they love our fireworks shows and want more of them. With that in mind, we decided to schedule more fireworks shows than any season in franchise history as a small thank you for all of the support since the team's inception in 2009. We're not stopping there. The one thing we can promise is the 10th season will be the best season yet for Stone Crabs baseball."
In the coming weeks the Stone Crabs will announce their 2018 daily specials as well as the 2018 promotional schedule full of giveaways, promotions, appearances and 10th season celebrations.
