Stone Crabs take first game in Daytona 6-4

Padlo drives in four runs in win

The Stone Crabs used a pair of comebacks to down Daytona 6-4 Monday in the first game of a four-game series. 

Four of the top five hitters in the order collected multiple hits. Third baseman Kevin Padlo drove in four of the team's six runs, going 2-for-3 with a double on the night. 

Shortstop Jake Cronenworth picked up three more hits to raise his average to .450 to begin the year. 

Bryan Bonnell worked two scoreless innings of relief to earn the save after Charlotte scored three runs to take the lead in the top of the eighth. 

The Stone Crabs look to clinch a split of their four game set Tuesday at 7:05 p.m., as RHP Tyler Brashears makes his first start of the season.
