OMAHA, Neb. - Werner Enterprises and the Omaha Storm Chasers enthusiastically reveal that chart-topping country music artist Craig Morgan will take the stage at the 2013 Werner Concert on Friday, August 23rd.  The concert at Werner Park follows that evening's postgame American Family Insurance Friday Night Fireworks show.

"The Omaha Storm Chasers look at Werner Park as more than just a facility for baseball.  It is a place where families can come and get world-class entertainment for a world-class price," said Martie Cordaro, President and General Manager. "Craig Morgan is a welcomed addition to a concert series that has included Sawyer Brown, Blake Shelton, Keith Anderson, Tracy Lawrence, .38 Special, Jack Ingram and Uncle Kracker."

Craig Morgan has released 14 Top Ten hits in his 13-year music career including "That's What I Love About Sunday," named the top country song of 2005 by Billboard Magazine, as well as fan favorites "Almost Home" and "Redneck Yacht Club."  Morgan released his sixth studio album "This Ole Boy" in February of last year, and it became his third album to debut in the top ten on the Billboard Top Country Album charts.  In 2008, Morgan received one of the highest honors in country music when he became a member of the Grand Ole Opry.

Born in Kingston Springs, Tennessee, Morgan worked as an Emergency Medical Technician, a contractor, a sheriff's deputy and a Wal-Mart assistant dairy manager before pursuing a career in music.  Morgan also has served nearly two decades in the U.S. Military, including more than ten years of active duty as a paratrooper and nine years in the reserves that spanned even after he released his self-titled album in 2000.

"Werner Enterprises is looking forward to hosting another great concert at Werner Park for our professional drivers, associates and all the other baseball fans in and around the Omaha area," said Derek Leathers, president and COO of Werner Enterprises. "We are proud to have Craig Morgan as our headliner this year and it is our pleasure to share this event with everyone."
