Fans to Have Chance to Play Catch on Field at Werner Park

Four Sunday dates set for pre-game catch, starting on June 25

Omaha Storm Chasers fans will have the opportunity to play catch on the same field as future Major League stars starting on Sunday, June 25. In addition to that day, pre-game on-field catch will also take place prior to the Storm Chasers' matchups on July 30, August 13 and September

Omaha Storm Chasers fans will have the opportunity to play catch on the same field as future Major League stars starting on Sunday, June 25. In addition to that day, pre-game on-field catch will also take place prior to the Storm Chasers' matchups on July 30, August 13 and September 3.

Gates will open one hour and 15 minutes before the scheduled first pitch on those dates, and fans will be able to play catch in the outfield grass for approximately 30 minutes. Fans are asked to bring their own gloves, while baseballs will be provided if necessary. Gates will open on those dates for Pre-Game On-Field Catch at the following times.
Sunday, June 25: 12:45pm                                          Sunday, August 13: 12:45pm
Sunday, July 30: 3:45pm                                            Sunday, September 3: 5:45pm
Following those contests, kids will also be able to run the bases the Storm Chasers play on as part of Hardee's Kids Run the Bases, which takes place following every Sunday home contest at Werner Park. Clowns and balloon artists will also be out on the concourse as part of U.S. Bank Family FUNday.
Hy-Vee Canned Food Sundays will also be in effect on June 25, July 30 and August 13, allowing fans to receive a free McDonald's berm ticket for that day's contest with the donation of two Hy-Vee branded canned good items at Werner Park. Hy-Vee Canned Food Sunday will not be taking place on Sunday, September 3.
Tickets for all four games with Pre-Game On-Field Catch are still available, and can be purchased online at www.omahastormchasers.com/tickets. Fans may also purchase tickets at the Werner Park Ticket Office Monday through Friday from noon until 6:00pm on non-gamedays.
