Salute to KC Royals Set For May 20

The Omaha Storm Chasers' annual Salute to Kansas City Royals Night, presented by Werner Enterprises, is set for Saturday, May 20 at Werner Park. The night is set to feature numerous festivities, including a pair of Royals legends on hand, in addition to Kansas City's mascots Sluggerrr and Kaycee, as well as a Salvy Splash Bobblehead Giveaway.

Fans will want to arrive early, as the first 1,500 fans admitted to Werner Park will receive a Salvador Perez "Salvy Splash" Bobblehead courtesy of Fairfield Inn & Suites Papillion.<o:p>
Royals legends Jim Eisenreich and Brian McRae are also scheduled to be on hand to throw out ceremonial first pitches and sign autographs for fans. Autograph sessions are scheduled to last from 7:15 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on the concourse that evening. Royals mascots Sluggerrr and Kaycee will be out and about as well throughout the evening to pose for photos with fans, in addition to interacting with on-field promotions.<o:p>
In addition, the Storm Chasers and Royals will also be giving away several prize packs throughout the evening, including a Grand Prize Pack that includes four lower level seats to a Royals game at Kauffman Stadium, along with a Ballpark Tour, Royals Hall of Fame Tour with Hall of Fame Director Curt Nelson, an Alex Gordon Autographed Item, and a bag full of premium items, including bobbleheads. Fans will be able to sign up for the chance to win these prize packs at Fan Services.
First pitch that evening is scheduled for 7:05 p.m., with gates opening at 6:00 p.m. CT. Parking lots will be open starting at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday night.
