Storm announce 2013 season schedule

Lake Elsinore, CA - The Lake Elsinore Storm, proud Advanced-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2013 baseball season.

The 20th season will begin on the road against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes on Thursday, April 4. The Storm open up at The Diamond the following Thursday, April 11, marking the start of a 70-game home schedule. The Storm will celebrate opening night against south division rivals Inland Empire 66ers.

The Storm will again have weekly promotions highlighted by Thirsty Thursdays and Fireworks Fridays. There will be nine Thirsty Thursdays, featuring one dollar sodas and beers and a live DJ. The Storm will have 11 Fireworks Fridays which include post game fireworks spectacular.

Other returning promotional nights include Wacky Weenie Wednesdays with FREE hotdogs, Margarita Mondays with $2 margaritas, Social Media Saturdays with Facebook and Twitter contests and prizes and the ever popular, kid-friendly, Sunday Fundays. The Storm will celebrate Independence Day in 2013 on Wednesday, July 3, with a post-game fireworks extravaganza.
