Celebrate Groundhog Day with Pops-utawney Scooch

Syracuse, NY-The Syracuse Chiefs, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, invite members of the Syracuse community to celebrate Groundhog Day at Alliance Bank Stadium this Monday, February 4. Join Tex Simone, Scooch and the Chiefs on the first base side of the field at 10am.

Tex Simone will be on the field with Pops-utawney Scooch on the morning of the 4th. If Tex sees Scooch's shadow, fans that purchase a new full season ticket during the week of February 4-8 will get one free full season ticket of equal value. As an additional way to celebrate, Stuff-a-Scooch or Stuff-A-Pops plush toys will be half off at Whistlestop Souvenirs and purchasers will receive a reusable Syracuse Chiefs shopping bag.

If Tex does not see Scooch's shadow everyone will receive 10% off on full-price items in Whistlestop Souvenirs during the week.
