As part of its new commitment to keep Triple-A baseball fun and affordable family entertainment, the Syracuse Chiefs Baseball Club has lowered its ticket prices for the 2014 season. General Admission prices will decrease by $3 per ticket for adults and all members of the military will receive FREE General Admission to the ballpark.
Jason Smorol, the Chiefs' new General Manager, has made it his mission to make sure that fans who visit NBT Bank Stadium next season get their money's worth. "The Syracuse Chiefs said we are going to listen to our fans, the Chiefs have said we believe in affordable family entertainment, we think this is a positive first step in reaching our goals for the new Syracuse Chiefs."
Here are the complete details of the changes:
- All General Admission tickets are now $5 for adults, $4 for children and seniors . . . and FREE for members of the military. (Previously, General Admission seats were $8 for adults and military. Children & seniors remain the same at $4.)
- All Military General Admission tickets are now FREE. (There was no prior discount for the military.)
- The Home Plate Club exclusive seating area has been expanded and renamed "Premium Field Box Seating." Food & beverage service previously offered only to Home Plate Club members is now offered to everyone within Premium Field Box Seating. Pricing for the new Premium Field Box area is: Adults $12, Children and Seniors $10, and discounted tickets for active and retired members of the military. Military tickets in the Premium Field Box seats are $10. (The 2013 Home Plate Club cost was $20 for adults, children and seniors and $14 for most of the other 100 level seats.)
- The Reserved seating area has been renamed "Box Seat Reserved." Adult tickets are now $10 (previously $12); Children, Seniors and Military are now $8 (previously $9 for children and $12 for seniors).
