Chiefs, IronPigs postponed on Thursday
Syracuse returns home for Fourth of July festivities
Thursday night's game between the Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, and Lehigh Valley IronPigs, has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will make up the game as a part of a doubleheader on Saturday, August 23rd at 5:35 PM.
Syracuse next returns home for a 7:00 game on Friday night against the Pawtucket Red Sox. Right-hander A.J. Cole is scheduled to start against Pawtucket right-hander Steven Wright. The City of Syracuse's fireworks show will follow the game.
