Buffet-style dinner available before team plays IronPigs
July 15, 2014

The Syracuse Chiefs, the Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are excited to announce the details of the team's "Pig Roast Night" presented by The Bull & Bear Pub on Sunday, July 20th. The buffet-style dinner will start at 3:00 p.m. before the Chiefs' doubleheader against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

"We can't wait to put on this awesome summertime event with Bull & Bear's Catering Company," said Chiefs general manager Jason Smorol. "Our fans will get a great meal and watch the Chiefs roast the IronPigs!"

The menu for the roast includes two whole pigs, fire-grilled chicken, corn bread with maple butter, fruit salad, Italian pasta salad, salt potatoes, tomato cucumber salad, rolls, cookies and brownies, as well as complimentary soda and water. A cash bar will be made available for those fans over the age of 21.

Tickets for the pig roast are $30 and include the cost of dinner and a 200-level ticket for that night's 5:00 p.m.doubleheader. For fans that already have a ticket for the twin bill, admission to the roast will cost just $20. Additionally, kids ages 12 and under cost just $20, since they will gain free admission into the doubleheader as part of "Family Sunday."

Fans can enjoy their dinner on the grassy area behind the stadium's first-base ramp until 4:30. Tables and seating for 200 people will be set up outside, in addition to a large tent for fans' convenience.

Tickets for the roast can be purchased by calling the stadium ticket office at 315-474-7833, visiting the NBT Bank Stadium box office during regular business hours or online at syracusechiefs.com.
