The Syracuse Chiefs are excited to announce Jim Boeheim Added-Value Night to be held on Friday, April 7th. The Chiefs will take on the Rochester Red Wings at 6:35 p.m. that night, gates open at 5:30 p.m.

The Greensboro Grasshoppers recently announced Jim Boeheim (No) Value Night and in response, the Chiefs would like to honor Jim Boeheim and all he has done for the Central New York Community.

"We love the Greensboro Grasshoppers and appreciate their attention to current events. In the spirit of a healthy rivalry between our communities, we are excited to hold Jim Boeheim "Added-Value" Night. Jim Boeheim has done tremendous good for this community and our country over the past 40+ years," said Jason Smorol, general manager. "Coach Boeheim does not toot his own horn and we feel the rest of the nation needs to know the softer, philanthropic side of Coach. In addition to supporting a local icon, like Boeheim, it is our goal to give our fans the best value in town."

The Chiefs will create added value to the game that night with:

  • Post-game fireworks show
  • A portion of the 50/50 raffle and $1.00 of every ticket sold for that night will be donated to the Jim & Juli Boeheim Foundation
  • T-shirt giveaway for the first 1000+ fans, the total number of giveaways will equal Jim Boeheim's total career wins to date.
  • Beer specials in honor of National Beer Day
  • Jim Boeheim look-alike contest during the game, the winner will receive a family four pack to a future game in 2017.
  • Free admission for fans with a valid North Carolina ID
  • And more!
