Canó (1x3, BB) lined a sharp single to left field during the first plate appearance of his rehab assignment with the Rainiers Monday night and tallied a walk during the bottom of the eighth. He played first base and made multiple strong defensive plays.

Beckham paced the Rainiers offense by going two-for-five with a double and three RBI Monday night, including the game-winning hit in the bottom of the 10th inning. Center fielder Ben Gamel (2x4, 2 R, BB) and catcher David Freitas (2x4, 2B) also provided sparks at the plate for the Tacoma lineup.
Right-hander Ross Detwiler turned in his sixth quality start in 10 tries for the Rainiers - he allowed just one run on seven hits across 6.1 innings of work. Detwiler issued just one walk and struck out six on 91 pitches, 65 of which went for strikes.
Right-handers Tyler Higgins (1.2), Ryan Cook (1.0) and Shawn Armstrong (1.0) didn't allow a single hit or earned run across 3.2 innings of relief for Tacoma and tallied four strikeouts. Armstrong (2-4) took home the win, his second of the year.
