The Rainiers were defeated by Dodgers on Friday, 9-2, dropping the three-game series in Oklahoma City. Joe Odom launched his first Triple-A home run, that put Tacoma on the board in the top of the fifth. Two innings later, outfielder Jaycob Brugman doubled home John Andreoli, which would turn out to the Rainiers final run of the night. Right-hander Darren McCaughan made his fifth start for Tacoma and was charged with his fifth loss we he let up eight runs on three hits across the first 2 2/3 frames.
