Jose Lobaton launched two three-run bombs as the Rainiers took down Las Vegas on Thursday, 9-3. The catcher went 2-for-4 and has 12 home runs in the 2019 campaign, tied with Kristopher Negrón for the most in a Rainiers uniform this season. Southpaw Anthony Misiewicz threw five innings of three-run ball in the victory. Tim Lopes drove in the first run of the game when he doubled home John Andreoli to start Tacoma's five-run, third-inning rally. Lopes has collected hits in 14 of his last 16 games, hitting at a .344 clip over that span (22-for-64).
Right-hander Brandon Brennan, who had his rehab assignment transferred from the AZL Mariners on Monday, tossed a scoreless sixth inning in his second appearance with the Rainiers. Gerson Bautista two innings of perfect baseball with four strikeouts and David McKay followed when the closed out the game with a 1-2-3 ninth.
