ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Tacoma Rainiers (51-52) losing streak hit eight games with a 3-2 defeat at the hands of the Round Rock Express (50-53) on Wednesday night at Dell Diamond.
Right fielder John Andreoli collected a pair of two-out RBI base knocks early in the game, and finished the night 2-for-3 2ith a double, two RBI, and a walk. First baseman Cameron Perkins (2x4) and third baseman Seth Mejias-Brean (2x3, BB) also collected multiple hits.

Tacoma starting pitcher Erasmo Ramírez worked three innings and held Round Rock scoreless on just one hit. He issued no walks and struck out three on 33 pitches (24 strikes) in his second rehab appearance with the Rainiers.
Ross Detwiler, the Rainiers regularly-scheduled starter, reliever Ramirez and allowed three runs on five hits across four innings of work - he issued no walks and struck out three. Ryan Cook closed out the ballgame with a clean bottom of the eighth that included a strikeout.
Tacoma will start right-hander Rob Whalen (7-4, 4.50) against Round Rock righty Tyler Wagner (1-4, 4.78) as the three-game series between the Rainiers and Express wraps up on Thursday night at 5:05 p.m. PT.
