RENO, Nevada - The Tacoma Rainiers (51-46) dropped a 7-3 decision to the Reno Aces (48-49) on Wednesday night at Greater Nevada Field.
First baseman Daniel Vogelbach led the way on offense, going 2-for-4 with a double, a two-run home run, and three RBI. Center fielder Ian Miller (2x4, 2B) notched multiple hits, while second baseman Gordon Beckham drew three walks and scored two runs.

Rainiers starting pitcher Christian Bergman (6-7) took the loss after allowing five runs on seven hits across 5.2 innings of work. He issued one walk and struck out five on 92 pitches (61 strikes).
Tucker Healy relieved Bergman and held the Aces scoreless on just one hit over 1.1 innings - he allowed no walks and struck out five. Nick Rumbelow (1.0 IP) closed out the contest for Tacoma and allowed two runs on one hit (home run) while striking out two.
Rainiers left-hander Ross Detwiler (2-2, 5.67) and Aces righty Neftalí Feliz (2-3, 5.75) will take the mound as Tacoma and Reno wrap up their series on Thursday night at 7:05 p.m. PT.
