Tampa, FL - The Tampa Yankees and the Humane Society of Tampa Bay will be hosting their seventh annual Bark at the Ballpark on Saturday, May 18th.

Fans are invited to bring their canine friends to George M. Steinbrenner Field to enjoy a pre-game dog fair featuring local pet vendors and watch the Tampa Yankees take on the Clearwater Threshers. Gates will open at 4:30 PM for the dog fair and the game will start at 6:00 PM.

Bark at the Ballpark is sponsored by Fuzzie Buddies Boarding and Grooming Facility, Urgent Pet Care and The New Barker magazine. New this year, the Tamp Yankees will be wearing special limited edition "canine" theme jerseys which fans can bid on during the game in a silent auction. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

Tickets start at $4.00 and can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Box Office. All dogs must have a ticket, valid county tags, and current vaccinations in order to enter the stadium.

Every Saturday Tampa Yankees home game, kids can run the bases pre-game and fans can get autographs from players on the concourse from 5:10-5:30pm.
