ACADEMY SPORTS + OUTDOORS AND SMOKIES PARTNER UP FOR 2019

SEVIERVILLE - The Tennessee Smokies have announced that Academy Sports + Outdoors, a sports, outdoors and recreation lifestyle retailer, dedicated to making it easier for everyone to enjoy more sports and outdoors, and the Smokies have partnered up during the 2019 season to offer several giveaways for fans throughout the season.
Academy Sports + Outdoors and the Smokies will offer a giveaway highlighting Veterans who have gone above and beyond in the line of duty with Tickets for Heroes. Fans will be able to nominate veterans to receive a spotlight feature during a Smokies game, a gift card from Academy Sports + Outdoors, and tickets to a Smokies game. Tickets for Heroes will be a promotion that will last all season long. Stay tuned for the 10 different dates that will be announced on social media. 
Fans will also be able to recognize their mothers with the Mother's Day Giveaway. Registrants will be able to explain why their mother is the best, and the mother will have the chance to receive a gift card from Academy Sports + Outdoors, a Smokies specialty jersey from Making Strides Night, an opportunity to throw out the first pitch and be recognized on field, and tickets to the Smokies game on May 12, 2019. 
Fathers will also get their chance at an awesome prize pack from Academy Sports + Outdoors with the Father's Day Giveaway. Fans will be able to explain why their father is the best, and the father will have the chance to win a gift card from Academy Sports + Outdoors, a gift card to the GoTeez Locker Room, an opportunity to throw out the first pitch and be recognized on field during Margaritaville Night on June 22, 2019, and four Academy Sports + Outdoors chairs for the family to watch the post-game fireworks on the field. 
Academy Sports + Outdoors will also be teaming up with the Smokies to offer the All-American Ticket throughout the 2019 season. Fans who purchase the All-American ticket will be entered to win Academy Sports + Outdoors gift cards throughout the season. On UT Night on August 10, 2019, Academy Sports + Outdoors will have a specialty viewing area on the field where fans can view the post-game fireworks. Fifty lucky fans will have the chance to win an Academy Sports + Outdoors chair and the opportunity to sit in the Academy Sports + Outdoors viewing area.
