Threshers Round Out Front Office Team

Off-Season Additions and Promotions Build for the Future

CLEARWATER, Florida - The Clearwater Threshers, Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, have announced personnel additions and changes to the front office staff. New faces and additions in the food and beverage, group sales, and community and media departments will enhance and solidify the club's commitment to providing affordable, family-friendly entertainment to the Clearwater and Tampa Bay communities.

 "The additions and changes to our front office round out our staff so that we may continue to serve our guests with the best experience possible at the ballpark," said Director of Florida Operations and Threshers GM John Timberlake. "With our talented roster complete, I am excited for the future as we expand our community reach and provide Threshers fans with many more years of fun and memories."   


Justin Gunsaulus joins the Threshers as Food and Beverage Manager. Justin is in his sixth season of minor league baseball after two years with the Lakewood BlueClaws, one with the Mobile BayBears, and two with Professional Sports Catering in Gwinnett with the Braves and Stripers. He won the 2014 edition of MiLB Food Fight and spent 10 years with Publix before starting in baseball. Justin and his team are committed to providing great value and service at all of our concession locations.


The Threshers new Group Sales Assistant is Victoria Phipps, who is joining minor league baseball for the first time. She most recently worked on economic development at the Visit St. Pete Clearwater Sports Commission. Victoria also previously served with the Dali Museum in volunteer and docent development, as well as group tour coordination and sales. She has experience with consumer/brand engagement and is fluent in Spanish. She is ready to fill the park with birthday parties, office parties, family outings, school trips, and charity fundraisers.


Promoted to Community Engagement and Media Manager, Robert Stretch begins his fifth season in Clearwater. After stints in the communications departments of the Memphis Redbirds and Columbus Blue Jackets, he assumed the public and media relations efforts of the Threshers. Robert is looking forward to expanding the Threshers involvement in the community and reaching local families and baseball fans.


The Threshers play a 140-game season in the Florida State League with 70 home games at Spectrum Field from April through August. The staff in Clearwater also supports and coordinates Phillies Spring Training. The Threshers started as the Clearwater Phillies in 1985, playing in their new home at US19 and Drew St. as the Clearwater Threshers for the first time in 2004.
