CLEARWATER, Fla. - Minor league baseball returns to Spectrum Field on Thursday, April 6, with Clearwater Threshers Opening Night by Regions Bank. Catch all the fun and excitement of a new season when the Philadelphia Phillies Class A-Advanced affiliate takes the field for the first time in 2017. Stay after the game for an opening night fireworks celebration.
Thursdays at Spectrum Field are Taps and Tacos by Tijuana Flats with Local Craft Brews. Visit the beer garden along the left field concourse and enjoy party games, corn bag toss, and 16 different craft drafts on tap from area breweries. Tijuana Flats will be serving their signature tacos from their kiosk in the beer garden. Take your Thursday game ticket to any Pinellas County Tijuana Flats location on Friday for a free chips and taco.
All beverages on Thursday nights are half-price at Spectrum Field. This includes bottled water, sodas, and beers. A 24 oz. craft draft in the beer garden is only $3.50 on Thursdays.
Opening night excitement continues on Friday, April 7, with a post-game concert and fireworks show. The Titans of Rock bring their signature epic rock show to Spectrum Field. The Titans of Rock is the ultimate Journey and Bon Jovi tribute band, with a soaring set list of each. Go back in time with this amazing show. Fridays at Spectrum Field are Tampa Bay Times Family Night. Look for the coupon in the newspaper to redeem at the box office for two tickets, two hot dogs, two sodas, and two bags of chips, all for $16 (coupon required). Fridays are also the home of the bigger and better Threshers Lil' Anglers Kids Club. For children 13 and under, a $25 season membership includes admission to all Friday home games, a cap and T-shirt, special activities, and more.
