Eric LeGrand (1)

LeGrand has become a source of inspiration, hope and perseverance for many in our region and around the world. A standout high school football player from Colonia High School in Colonia, NJ, LeGrand sustained a severe spinal cord injury during a game against Army at Met Life Stadium on October 16, 2010. In January of 2011, Rutgers University announced that LeGrand had regained movement in his shoulders and sensation throughout his body and entered the Reeve Foundation's NeuroRecovery Network

LeGrand has captured the attention of the nation throughout his rehabilitation for his incredible amount of courage, belief and strength. In 2013, LeGrand decided to form the Team LeGrand of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation to help individuals living with spinal cord injury and their families by supporting quality of life initiatives and emerging therapies.

LeGrand will visit ARM & HAMMER Park on Wednesday, June 7 to receive an on-field recognition and to help raise money for LeGrand's annual 5k A Walk to Believe. Fans can purchase tickets to a Meet and Greet in the Yankee Club and Conference Center from 5-6pm with LeGrand for $25, proceeds from which will benefit Team LeGrand

Fans that purchase tickets to the Meet and Greet will receive a ticket to the game against the Yard Goats, a food voucher, a CHOP Bracelet and a Photo Opportunity.
