With New York Yankees Pitchers and Catchers reporting for Spring Training in Tampa, Florida on Monday, your Thunder are thrilled to announce additions to their 2017 promotional schedule.
One of the most popular giveaways each year are bobbleheads and the first will take place on Friday, July 21, when the fans will go home with a Gary Sanchez bobblehead, presented by Hyundai. On Friday, August 4, the Thunder will giveaway a Reggie Jackson/Derby combination bobblehead. The final bobblehead giveaway of the season will take place on Friday, August 25 and Thunder fans will have the unique opportunity to vote on who will be the subject of the bobblehead. Via social media channels and TrentonThunder.com, fans can cast their vote for one of five candidates during the month of March. All bobblehead giveaways are for the first 2,000 fans, ages 14 and older, in attendance only.
On Friday, April 28, when the Thunder host the Erie Seawolves (Detroit Tigers), the first 1,000 fans, ages 18 and older will receive a Thunder T-Shirt, presented by Kampus Klothes. The weekend continues with a Thunder Autograph Book Giveaway on Sunday, April 30, to the first 1,000 fans, ages 5-15, and members of Boomer's Kids Club, presented by Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Princeton Healthcare System, will have an opportunity to meet Thunder players and seek autographs.April 30 is also Hamilton Day, a celebration of Hamilton Township with a special performance from the Reynolds Middle School Band.
Tuesday, May 30, when the Thunder host the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (New York Mets), will be Steiner Sports night at the park. As part of the night, a former Mets player will make a special appearance to throw out a first pitch and sign autographs.
The Thunder will have themed giveaways on both Mother's and Father's Day this year. On Sunday, May 14, the first 1,000 women, ages 18 and up, will receive a Mother's Day Beach Bag Giveaway. On Mother's Day the Thunder will once again host a Mother's Day Brunch and Baseball in the Yankee Club. For more information click here. On Sunday, June 18, the first 1,000 men, ages 18 and up, will receive a Father's Day Neck Tie.
The kid-friendly giveaways at Sunday afternoon games will begin on Kids Opening Day on Saturday, April 15, when the first 1,000 fans, ages 5-15, will receive a Gary Sanchez mini bat. The giveaways continue on Sunday, May 21, when the first 1,000 fans, ages 5-15, will receive a Princeton Health Care System/Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Kids Club Pennant as part of Boomer's Birthday at ARM & HAMMER Park. Sunday, June 11, will feature a Kids Drawstring Bag Giveaway, presented by St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center, to the first 1,000 fans, ages 5-15.
Four straight nights of family fun kick off on Monday, June 26 with the team's Bat Dog Celebration with the Thunder wearing special Derby jerseys and fans can bring their well-behaved dog free of charge to the game. Tuesday, June 27 will feature a White Eagle Poster Giveaway to the first 2,000 fans, ages six and older. Wednesday, June 28 features post-game fireworks, presented by PNC Bank, and Thursday, June 28 will feature the team's annual Hometown Heroes Night. The first 1,000 fans, ages six and older, will receive a special card set, presented by Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, featuring local hometown heroes nominated by members of our community. Friday, July 7, when the Thunder host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays) will be Superhero night at ARM & HAMMER Park. Fans will be encouraged to dress in the costume of their favorite superhero and the Thunder will wear special-themed jerseys which will be auctioned off following the game.
Sunday, July 9 will feature a Thunder Kids Wallet giveaway to the first 1,000 fans, ages 5-15. All fans, however, will be able to put their wallets away while in line for ice cream on July 9, as everyone can enjoy free ice cream throughout the day's game against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays).
On Sunday, July 23, will feature a special Kids Batting Glove giveaway to the first 1,000 fans, ages 5-15. With a special5:00pm start time, the Thunder will also celebrate Bike Night and all fans can take advantage of $1 hot dogs throughout the game.
Kids will want to get their tickets early for Sunday, August 6 as the first 1,000 fans, ages 5-15, will receive a Youth Gary Sanchez Replica Jersey, presented by ARM & HAMMER.
Thursday, August 17, will give Thunder fans one final chance to enjoy a night at the beach at ARM & HAMMER Park. Presented by NJEA, the Thunder will wear special beach-themed jersey's and all fans can enjoy a spectacular post-game fireworks show.
Daily promotions will also return in 2017 with Super Value Tuesday where Kids Eat Free and all fans can puchase $1 hot dogs. Wine Wednesday also returns with half-priced wine made available during every Wednesday night game. ThirstyThursday gives fans a great way to start the weekend with $2 Bud, Bud Light and Michelob Ultra drafts available through the middle of the fifth inning.
