Roemon Fields drove in a pair with an 11th inning single to give the New Hampshire Fisher Cats a 4-2 victory over the Thunder on Wednesday night at ARM & HAMMER Park.

After New Hampshire tied the game on a Ryan McBroom double in the eighth inning, Matt Marsh pitched the Thunder into extra innings. In the 11th, New Hampshire loaded the bases with two outs and Fields sliced a two-run single back through the middle off of Travis Hissong.

The Thunder scored both of their runs in the first inning against Conner Greene with a run-scoring groundout from Mike Ford and a two-out single from Zack Zehner.

With the 2-0 advantage, Chance Adams worked through five innings on Wednesday night; surrendering only a solo home run to McBroom in the fourth. Adams finished with six hits, one walk allowed and five strikeouts on 95 pitches.

Offensively, the Thunder had just three baserunners after the fourth inning. Mike Ford doubled in the sixth and was stranded on third, a Francisco Diaz walk with two outs in the seventh, and a Miguel Andujar double in the eighth.

Caleb Frare struck out five over his two innings of relief, following Adams' start.
