Tides announce 2018 promotional schedule

The Norfolk Tides today announced several promotions that will highlight the 2018 season. Individual game tickets will go on sale this Saturday, March 10 at 10 am, with fans able to purchase tickets in person at Harbor Park, online at NorfolkTides.com, or by calling TicketMaster at 1-800-745-3000. 

The 2018 promotional schedule features traditional favorites like 12 postgame fireworks shows, eight Business Special Matinees, two Bark in the Park dates (April 22 & August 12), two Turn-Back-The-Clock Nights (June 25 & August 21), Star Wars Night (June 30), Armed Forces Night (May 19), Marine Corps Night (June 16) and Navy Night (August 11). Also returning to the promotional schedule are Military Mondays, Wind Down Wednesdays, Thursday Night Happy Hours and Sunday Fundays. 
The Oriole Bird will make an appearance at Harbor Park on May 20, while youth jerseys will be given away to kids on June 1. Fans can celebrate their favorite local colleges with ODU Night (April 21) and Hokie Night (June 12), and fans can take home special giveaways like a collectable snow globe (July 13), Rip Tide bobblehead doll (July 27) or a Tides baseball cap (August 10). A celebration of the Harry Potter universe will take place on Wands and Wizards Night (July 28), and the Tides will wrap up the home portion of their schedule with Fan Appreciation Weekend from August 25-27. Single game tickets start at $12.00 for Reserved Seats, with Box Seats available for $13.00. The Tides also offer a special discount to students through High School, Active Military with ID, and Senior Citizens (60 & over). These special discounts are available in the Lower and Upper Reserved sections, and can be purchased for $10.00. Children under two years old are admitted free.
The Tides will play their first game of 2018 at Harbor Park on Monday, March 26th in an Exhibition Game against the Baltimore Orioles. Norfolk will then open its regular season on Friday, April 6th with a 7:05 contest vs. Gwinnett at Harbor Park.
