Neuroscience Group grabs naming rights for Fox Cities Stadium

January 14, 2014

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have reached an agreement with the Neuroscience Group on a naming rights deal for Fox Cities Stadium. The ten-year deal begins immediately and the home of the Midwest League affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers will now be known as Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.

The Neuroscience Group is a multi-specialty physician practice focused on the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of the nervous system. They provide complete brain, spine, and pain care services under one roof. The Neuroscience Group was established in 1991 by neurosurgeon Thomas A. Lyons MD, FACS.

"The Neuroscience Group's number one goal is improving our patients' lives," said Philip Yazbak, MD, FACS, president of Neuroscience Group. "We also believe that the presence of the Timber Rattlers in Appleton is a major contributor to the quality of peoples' lives in the Fox Cities and beyond. As longtime season ticket holders, we have enjoyed many personal and corporate outings at Fox Cities Stadium, and hope to continue to do so for many years to come."

Neuroscience Group is located in Neenah, with multiple satellite clinics throughout the Fox Valley.

"The Neuroscience Group has been a great partner of ours for some time and we are truly excited about our growing relationship," said Timber Rattlers president Rob Zerjav. "We think this is a great fit with a great local group and we feel there will be a lot of unique opportunities for our community that we will be able to develop out of this partnership."

Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium opened in 1995 as a replacement for Goodland Field. The ballpark underwent a major renovation after the 2012 season to add an upper level with a year round banquet facility, six suites, and club seating. The team also expanded concession stands, restrooms, the team store, and the main offices as part of the renovation.

The naming right deal kicks off an important season for the Timber Rattlers. The team will celebrate their 20th anniversary season in 2014. The Timber Rattlers have drawn over 4.1 million fans in their first nineteen seasons.

The Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium box office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Ticket packages are available now in person, over the phone at (800) WI-TIMBER or (920) 733-4152, or online through timberrattlers.com. Individual tickets for the 2014 Timber Rattlers season go on sale Saturday, March 1 at 10:00 am.
