Rattlers Plan Twentieth Season Celebration for 2014
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are going to celebrate their twentieth season in 2014 and they have a lot of plans to give fans a taste of the past while they watch future Milwaukee Brewers play ball at Fox Cities Stadium.
As part of the 20th anniversary season, the team has selected one Rattlers alumnae that is currently in the major leagues for each position on the field as part of a bobblehead series. The dates of the giveaways, the players selected, their position, and years played with the Rattlers are:
- Thursday, April 3: Scooter Gennett (2B, 2010)
- Saturday, April 5: Felix Hernandez (P, 2003)
- Tuesday, April 29: Brett Lawrie (3B, 2009)
- Tuesday, May 13: David Ortiz (1B, 1996)
- Tuesday, June 10: Adam Jones (OF, 2004)
- Tuesday, July 29: Asdrubal Cabrera (SS, 2005)
- Sunday, August 3: Khris Davis (OF, 2010)
- Tuesday, August 12: Martin Maldonado (C, 2009)
- Thursday, August 28: Shin-Soo Choo (OF, 2002)
There are also two other bobbleheads to be given away in 2014 as part of a bobblehead ticket package. Carlos Gomez - the Milwaukee Brewers All-Star centerfielder who rehabbed with the Timber Rattlers in 2010, 2011, and 2012 - and Jim Henderson, the Brewers reliever who was Wisconsin's closer in 2009 and rehabbed with the team in 2013.
The Jim Henderson bobblehead will be given away on Tuesday, July 1. The Carlos Gomez bobblehead will be given away on Sunday, July 20.
The Bobblehead ticket package is available for $85 for a Box Seat and $65 for a Reserved Bleacher Seat. Fans who purchase the ten-game bobblehead ticket package before January 10, 2014 will receive a free ticket to Opening Night, April 3 and guarantee a bobblehead for all of the bobblehead giveaways in the package. All giveaways in this package - except for Opening Night - are limited to 1,000 bobbleheads. The Opening Night Bobblehead giveaway is an "All Fan" giveaway and is not limited to 1,000.
Tickets for the eight "Throwback Pricing" games will be $5 for a box seat, $4 for a reserved bleacher seat, and $3 for the grass seats. During the games with throwback pricing, the concession stands will have a different food or beverage item available for the same price it was in 1995. The games with throwback pricing are scheduled for:

- Tuesday, April 29 - 6:35pm

The 2014 Timber Rattlers will wear jerseys based on the uniforms of the 1995 Timber Rattlers during all of the "Throwback Pricing" nights.
The Timber Rattlers are also announcing an Alumni Day that will be held on Sunday, July 20. Players, coaches, and full-time staff who have been a member of the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers during the past nineteen seasons are invited back to the stadium as the current Rattlers host the Dayton Dragons at 1:05pm. There will be a pre-game ceremony to introduce the players and a reception for alumni and their families.
